Performance Modifications

We are racers at heart and compete Nationally in the SCCA SM2 class of Solo Racing.

Sunrise Z is Art Rinner and Mike Cairncross.

Mike is the chief mechanic and has been working on Z's for over 25 years and has a very extensive knowledge of Z's from S30 to the Z32.  Mike drives a 1976 Navy Blue 280Z that has a 3.1L stroker in it.  With Mike's extensive knowledge of Z cars you can be assured that your work will be done correctly and on a timely basis.

Art does everything else, I'm an ex-CFO tired of the rat race and I love Z's as you can see the pictures of some of them on this page.  I have numerous Z's the ones pictured are the running ones.  I like to keep them nice and will treat your car the same way.  I am a former Executive Chairman of the Solo program for LA Region of the SCCA so I have many contacts in the racing and performance circles.  Sunrise Z is also affiliated with some of the most respected Z Race car builders in the industry so just about any modification you want can be done at Sunrise Z.  Art was the SCCA Event Chairman of the last four MSA West Coast Nationals Autocrosses.  We also compete in our 73 SM2 240Z with the SCCA.  In 2008 we will be debuting our new car.
